This is a real question we're asked often, and it's important to answer accurately: no. KTAC's Diploma and Bachelor in Law (an HRD Corp Claimable programme, not MQA-accredited) do not qualify you to practise as a lawyer in Malaysia. To become a qualified lawyer, you need an MQA-accredited LLB degree, followed by the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or a recognised Bar admission pathway.

KTAC's Law programme suits those who want to understand legal fundamentals and policy for administrative, compliance, or corporate support roles — not as a pathway to legal practice. If your goal is to practise law professionally, read about the MQA pathway through our partner institution first.

The same principle applies to all 16 programmes: they provide practical knowledge and skills for use in your existing career, not a licensed professional qualification (such as lawyer, chartered accountant, etc.) that requires recognition from an official professional body.

Does KTAC guarantee I'll get a job or promotion after completing the programme? No. No education institution can guarantee career outcomes, as this depends on many factors outside a learning programme's control — individual performance, employer decisions, and job market conditions.
